Knox Video MediaFlex 16 RGB-HV/VO Presentation Switcher

Filed under: Knox, switcher — admin at 9:29 am on Sunday, March 7, 2010

Description: The Knox Video Technologies’ MediaFlex series presentation switchers accept up to eight or sixteen composite, Y/C, component or analog HDTV video sources, eight or sixteen balanced or unbalanced stereo audio sources, and connects any one of the input sources to one or more of the eight or sixteen outputs with volume and tone control. An independent 8×8 VGA matrix (DB15HD) is available in the same chassis to route high-resolution sources such as graphics generators or laptop pc’s to several downstream devices such as data monitors and LCD projectors without loss of resolution.
Video: These presentation routers provide full-matrix switching of multiple levels of video. Fully buffered, ultra-high bandwidth crosspoint modules allow a variety of signals including composite video, S-video, component and VGA to be switched simultaneously without crosstalk.
Audio: Audio controls include volume, bass, treble, balance, input trim and mute. Adjust each output individually for optimal audio quality in any environment. Salvo commands allow adjusting all zones at once.
Control: Front panel control with dual LCD displays, hand-held IR remote, IP, RS-232 and contact closures. Fully compatible with Creston, AMX and Vity third party touch screen controllers.
Dimensions: 4U Rackmount Chassis 19”x 7”x10” (WxHxD)
Warranty: 5-year parts and labor.

The RS8×8HB is a high performance audio/video routing switcher in a thin profile 3-unit rackmount chassis. It accepts and routes almost any 1 volt Composite, Y/C, or Component video input including off-the-air and non-timebase corrected signals.

The RS8×8HB accepts and routes mono or stereo unbalanced audio up to 2 volts p-p or balanced stereo audio from 0 to +18 dbm. Video and audio inputs can be routed independently; they need not have the same destinations. Easy manual operation by front panel push buttons, or send routing commands from a terminal or computer to RS232 interface. The simple ASCII protocol is compatible with most third-party controllers. Optional Knox control and scheduling software are also available.

Battery backed-up memory stores up to eight different studio patterns. Internal timer allows timed sequence of patterns for surveillance applications.

Knox’s series of high performance, 200 MHz, highband (HB) matrix routing switchers are extremely versatile, easy-to-use and very affordable. Housed in an ultra-thin rackmount chassis, they accept and route, on the vertical interval, virtually any video signal. Our switchers even route off-the-air and non-timebase corrected video. They also route balanced or unbalanced stereo audio. Audio follows the video, or audio can be routed independently.

Each of the switchers offers easy manual control via front panel operation. Front panel LED’s indicate the current routed pattern at all times. Non-volatile memory holds and restores the current pattern in case of power interruption. Crosspoint patterns may be programmed, stored, and later recalled. Our routing switchers can also be controlled remotely by a computer, by a Knox Remote Controller and/or by a Knox Remote Keypad Controller.

The RS16×16HB is a high performance audio/video routing switcher in a thin profile 6-unit rackmount chassis. It accepts and routes almost any 1 volt Composite, Y/C, or Component video input including off-the-air and non-timebase corrected signals.
The RS16×16HB accepts and routes mono or stereo unbalanced audio up to 2 volts p-p or balanced stereo audio from 0 to +18 dbm. Video and audio inputs can be routed independently; they need not have the same destinations.

Easy manual operation by front panel key pad, or send routing commands from a terminal or computer to RS232 interface.

Knox Video’s family of high performance, fixed-matrix routing switchers are extremely versatile, easy-to-use and very affordable. Housed in an ultra-thin rackmount chassis, they accept and route, on the vertical interval, virtually any baseband video signal. Our switchers even route off-the-air and non-timebase corrected video. They also route balanced or unbalanced stereo audio. The audio follows the video or the audio can be routed independently.

Each of the switchers offers easy manual control via front panel operation. Our routing switchers can also be controlled remotely by a computer, by a Knox Video RS Remote Controller and/or by a Knox Video Remote Keypad Controller. Front panel LED’s indicate the current routed pattern at all times. An internal battery holds and restores the current pattern in case of power interruption. Crosspoint patterns may be programmed, stored, and later recalled.
