If paired with the RS-232 and Stereo Sound CAT5 Receiver (AR-RX100), the Smart-AVI AR-TX100S RS-232 and Stereo Sound CAT5 Transmitter works for any RS-232 or stereo device up to 3,000 feet using easy to install inexpensive CAT5 cables. It can support all protocol and baud rates and is compatible with line level stereo audio signals. Furthermore, aside from its high ground loop immunity, it also features a built-in lightning, power surge and transient protection. The unit comes in a compact enclosure, and remote units come with buffered outputs. Fully transparent path for all protocols and data transfers. Optional power supply for remote unit is also available.
Applications: Hotel, cable TV remote control, control rooms, remote on-digital set-top control, sky box control extension and switcher output, dealer rooms, point of sales and remote VCR control.
