Combined with the VDX UXGA & RS-232 CAT5 Receiver (VDX-RX), the Smart-AVI VDX-TXS VDX UXGA & RS-232 CAT5 Transmitter uses a single CAT5 cable to broadcast high-resolution UXGA and RS-232 signals 1,000 feet away, at the most affordable price on the market. Furthermore, it supports high resolution clear video up to 1920x1200 and is HDTV compatible (720p, 1080i,1080p), not to mention it's compatibility with VGA, XGA, Sun, MAC and SGI signals. Other features include sync format / polarity preservation, bidirectional serial RS-232 control, high ground loop immunity, built-in lightning, power surge and transient protection, and a designated trimmer in the remote unit to compensate for cable length.
